Artist Biography Mitchell grew up in the local area around Brisbane where he learnt to love and respect nature and the surrounding coast line. He studied at Griffith University, completing a Bachelor of Visual Art in Fine Art in 1993. Later Mitchell traveled to the United Kingdom where he worked as a Wax Moulder to pursue his interest in sculpture and the arts. Now in Brisbane Mitchell works for Riverside Framing where he is able to keep in touch with modern artistic endeavors. He has refined his sculpture techniques, and likes working in a variety of materials mixing mediums and juxtaposing them together. His artwork is represented in both private and public collections.
