After studying the ancient art of Sogetsu Ikebana, it was very natural for me to transition to wire sculpture. The principles of this form of Ikebana belong in the expression of movement, balance and harmony.
My aim is to express the emphasis on line and space in my small wire sculptures; by letting the eye complete the composition. This allows the unique sculpture to have lightness of being.
