In bringing this sculpture to life, I have drawn on this ancient partnership, and coupled it with the love I have for my own horses.

My work is a celebration of Nature and the profound connections we humans make with other animals. From those special relationships we forge with domesticated animals to the value we place on wild and untamed Nature, animals are central to our human experience. I have been fortunate to have lived for long periods in Africa, England, Ireland and Australia. My experiences in these diverse places have shaped my character and continue to inform my work.
