Exhibitions Terms and Conditions

Eligibility:
1.1. Participation in any exhibition organized by Sculptors QLD (hereinafter referred to as “the Exhibition”) is open to artists residing in Queensland.
1.2. Only original works of sculpture are eligible for submission. Reproductions or copies of existing works will not be considered.
1.3. Artists must be at least 18 years of age to enter the Exhibition.

Submission Guidelines:
2.1. Artists must submit their entries through the official submission process outlined on the Sculptors QLD website or as communicated by Sculptors QLD.
2.2. Each artist may submit a maximum number of sculptures for consideration, as specified by the Exhibition guidelines.
2.3. Submissions must include clear images and detailed descriptions of the proposed sculpture(s), along with any additional documentation requested by Sculptors QLD.

Deadline:
3.1. All submissions must be received by the specified deadline as indicated on the Sculptors QLD website or as communicated by Sculptors QLD.
3.2. Late submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.

Selection Process:
4.1. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges appointed by Sculptors QLD.
4.2. The selection of sculptures for inclusion in the Exhibition will be at the sole discretion of the judging panel.
4.3. All decisions made by the judging panel are final and binding.

Notification:
5.1. Selected artists will be notified via email or phone by the specified notification date.
5.2. Sculptors QLD reserves the right to publicly announce the names of selected artists and their works.

Installation and Display:
6.1. Selected artists are responsible for delivering their sculptures to the designated installation site on the specified dates.
6.2. Artists must adhere to all installation guidelines provided by Sculptors QLD.
6.3. Sculptors QLD reserves the right to make any necessary adjustments to the placement or display of sculptures for optimal presentation.

Insurance and Liability:
7.1. Artists are responsible for insuring their sculptures against loss, damage, or theft for the duration of the Exhibition.
7.2. Sculptors QLD will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of all sculptures but will not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred.

Sales and Commission:
8.1. Selected artists may choose to offer their sculptures for sale during the Exhibition.
8.2. Sculptors QLD will facilitate sales transactions on behalf of the artists and will deduct a commission as agreed upon in advance.
8.3. Artists must provide accurate pricing information for their sculptures and agree to abide by the terms of sale set forth by Sculptors QLD.

Publicity and Promotion:
9.1. By participating in the Exhibition, artists grant Sculptors QLD permission to use images of their sculptures for promotional purposes, including but not limited to advertising, marketing materials, and social media posts.
9.2. Artists may be required to participate in interviews, photo shoots, or other promotional activities as requested by Sculptors QLD.

Agreement to Terms:
10.1. Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions in their entirety.
10.2. Sculptors QLD reserves the right to disqualify any artist who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or engages in any conduct deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the Exhibition.

By submitting an entry to any exhibition organized by Sculptors QLD, artists acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
